Jungfernsprung, Austria

9 June 2020

From Heiligenblut to the Jungfernsprung ("Maiden's Leap"), a 130m high waterfall.

After two days of continuous rain it was still totally cloudy, but at least dry again.

A little dusting of fresh snow higher up!

The remnants of an avalanche.

An abandoned little church.

The Jungfernsprung waterfall.

The start of a steep and narrow trail to a viewing platform closer to the fall.

Then back down again, and the return to Heiligenblut.
