A hike along churches, chapels, and Chardonnay. From Kahlenbergerdorf up the Nasenweg to the top of Leopoldsberg, over to Kahlenberg and Cobenzl, and then down to Grinzing.
The church at Kahlenbergerdorf.
Up the Nasenweg.
With a view of the vineyards where, according to one sign, they grow Chardonnay grapes.
The church on top of the Leopoldsberg.
With a view towards Vienna (against the sunlight).
And on the other side towards Klosterneuburg.
With its church and monastery.
Then through the woods.
Over to Kahlenberg, with yet another church.
And another view over Vienna.
Down through the Chardonnay vineyards.
A small chapel along the way.
Then arriving in Grinzing, with the house where the famous mathematician Kurt Gödel lived for two years during his time in Vienna.
And finally, a little chapel and church in Grinzing.
