Over the years I've put together several lectures and courses based on my own research projects and/or personal interests. Below is a list of what I have available. Click on the link behind any title to see an overview or abstract for that lecture or course.
Short courses are intensive, introductory-level 1 or 2 day courses, suitable for a wide range of backgrounds but assuming at least an advanced undergraduate or graduate-level education. However, most of the course lectures can also be presented individually (and independently) as introductions to the various topics that make up these courses. Research seminars are slightly more technical overviews of some of the projects I have worked on in the past, and are probably mostly of interest to a more specialized (academic) audience. Public lectures are for a general (non-scientific) audience, with the aim of explaining certain scientific ideas and issues in a simple and understandable way to the public at large.
Please don't hesitate to contact me directly for any further information, or if you wish to have any of these lectures or courses presented somewhere. We'll see what we can arrange...
